Light of Day update: Lineups now available for most shows

by JAY LUSTIG

The 2017 Light of Day Winterfest takes place Jan. 6-16.

The Light of Day Winterfest, taking place Jan. 6 to 16, hasn’t completely filled out its lineup yet. Most significantly, the performers for the event’s main concert, Jan. 14 at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, have not been announced.

But information about many of the shows has been released, and below are listings that are as up to date as possible. (I will add more information as it becomes available.)

The festival — now in its 17th year — and related shows and tours that take place all over the world have raised more than $4 million for research about Parkinson’s Disease and related neuro-degenerative diseases. The driving force behind it, through the years, has been Bob Benjamin, a musicians’ manager who suffers from Parkinson’s Disease.

Here are the lineups, though there may be more shows, as well, and more artists may be added to these. All venues are in Asbury Park, unless otherwise noted.
