The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra’s youth ensembles will present their annual spring concert at Science Park High School in Newark, March 25.

March 23: The National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, conducted by Enrique Pérez-Mesa at Prudential Hall at NJPAC, Newark. Program includes Ravel’s Boléro, De Falla’s The Three-Cornered Hat and more.
March 23-24: Light Opera of New Jersey at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Basking Ridge. Gaetano Donizetti’s “The Daughter of the Regiment.”
March 24: Livingston Symphony Orchestra at Livingston High School. “Water, Water Everywhere” with Debussy’s “La Mer”, the Overture to Wagner’s “The Flying Dutchman,” Smetana’s “Die Moldau” and Mendelssohn’s “Fingal’s Cave.”
March 25: NJSO Youth Orchestras Spring Concert at Science Park High School, Newark. Featuring the NJSO Academy Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, String Ensemble and Training Ensemble, as well as the Anne Lieberson Ensemble and the NJPAC Symphonic Band.
March 25: National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba at Richardson Auditorium at Princeton University.
March 25: Montclair Orchestra, “Balletic Reinvention” at Memorial Auditorium at Montclair State University. Emily D’Angelo, mezzo-soprano; Ian Koziara, tenor; David Leigh, bass. Program includes Stravinsky’sPulcinella and Shchedrin’s Carmen Suite.
March 26: James Galway at McCarter Theatre Center, Princeton.
