The new Artie Lange.

Proclaiming himself “your favorite clean and sober comedian,” Artie Lange tweeted, today, a list of new comedy shows, following an extended stay in rehab.

The New Jersey native and former “Howard Stern Show” cast member, who has also spent time in jail this year, has battled drug addiction for years and had an assortment of legal problems.

There was one New Jersey show among the dates Lange tweeted: Jan. 10 at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank. Tickets are on sale now, through ticketmaster.com.

He also said, in a video included with the tweet: “I’m back, guys, and I feel great. I love all you fans, you are the best. All the gang members that I met in jail, I love you all. … But listen … to the fans who wrote me in jail, you are such wonderful people. I’m doing good, guys. One day at a time. Seven months and 15 days clean, today … That’s all I got, and I got you, guys. I love you all.”

Lange’s drug and mental problems led to his departure, in 2010, from “The Howard Stern Show.” Since then, in addition to continue to doing standup comedy, he has had a successful podcast, co-starred in the HBO series “Crashing,” and published the memoirs “Crash and Burn” (2014) and “Wanna Bet?: A Degenerate Gambler’s Guide to Living on the Edge” (2018).
