Two former “Daily Show” correspondents will reunite at “SAD! A Happy Evening With Stephen Colbert and Samantha Bee,” a benefit for Montclair that will take place at NJPAC in Newark, Dec. 2.
According to a press release, the event will feature the hosts of CBS’ “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” and TBS’ “Full Frontal With Samantha Bee” in an “on-stage exchange on everything from their comic influences to politics, entertainment, and beyond.”
Colbert has presented similar benefits in the past, with Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Steve Carell and others. He is on the advisory board of Montclair Film, which presents the Montclair Film Festival and other events and activities, and his wife Evelyn is the president of its board of trustees.
Tickets go on sale Sept. 15 at 10 a.m., with presales Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. for Montclair Film members, and Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. for American Express members. Visit montclairfilm.org.
Also, packages are being offered through charitybuzz.com that will include admission to pre-show cocktail party, a post-show meet-and-greet, tickets to “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” and “Full Frontal With Samantha Bee,” and an opportunity to join Colbert and Bee onstage at the event for a trivia quiz.
