\”Night at the Museum\” will be shown at the Garden State Plaza, July 3.
The Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus will present family-oriented drive-in movies in its parking lot, every Friday in July. There will also be DJ music before the screenings, and food trucks will sell food and beverages.
The music will start at 7 p.m. and the movies will begin at 9. Admission is $20 per car, with proceeds going to the Center for Food Action, which is based in Englewood and has sites in various Bergen and Passaic County locations.
The schedule will be:
July 3: “Night at the Museum”
July 10: “The Sandlot”
July 17: “Dr. Doolittle”
July 24: “Ice Age”
July 31: “Ferdinand”
July 26 Update: These movies have been added as well:
Aug. 7: “Call of the Wild”
Aug. 14: “The Princess Bride”
Aug. 21: “Edward Scissorhands”
Aug. 28: “Independence Day”
Tickets are available via Eventbrite.com. According to a message on the web site, the screenings will take place “in the parking lot across the ring road from the AMC Theaters,” and rain dates will be announced “as needed.”
