The State Theatre has scheduled a concert paying tribute to three of New Jersey’s leading rock artists by a man who has performed with all of them.

A show billed as “Bobby Bandiera’s Tribute to Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Southside Johnny and Others” takes place at the New Brunswick venue on March 12. Tickets, priced at $30 and $60, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., with a pre-sale Thursday at 10 a.m. Visit statetheatrenj.org.

Bandiera is a current member of Bon Jovi’s touring band and played for many years with Southside Johnny’s Asbury Jukes. He has performed with Springsteen at many charity concerts and other events over the years.

In the more immediate future, Bandiera will be honored at the second Vanguard Awards show at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, Aug. 29, along with Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno and others.
