Eric Church, who had a No. 1 country, Top 20 pop hit in 2012 with his song “Springsteen,” sang with The Boss himself tonight at a benefit for the Stand Up for Heroes organization at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The song was part of a four-song acoustic Springsteen set that also included “If I Should Fall Behind” (a duet with Patti Scialfa), “This Hard Land” and “Dancing in the Dark.” You can watch the complete performance below.

Between the second and third songs, and the third and the fourth, Springsteen told a couple of risqué jokes; the show was part of the New York Comedy Festival, and Jon Stewart, Jim Gaffigan, Seth Meyers and Jimmy Carr were also on the bill. The jokes are also in the clip below, so be careful if you have children or easily offended adults in the room.

This was the 12th annual Stand Up for Heroes benefit, with proceeds going to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which supports injured soldiers and their families. Woodruff is the TV anchorman who was seriously injured while covering the war in Iraq in 2006.

Springsteen normally doesn’t perform “Springsteen on Broadway” on Mondays, and will take Tuesday off this week because of Election Day, but will resume the shows on Wed., Nov. 7.
