For countless New Jerseyans, holiday shopping just got easier.

Bruce Springsteen, who turned 65 yesterday, has announced that he is re-releasing his first seven albums as a boxed set: “Bruce Springsteen: The Album Collection Vol. 1, 1973-1984.” All of the albums will be remastered, and the set will be available in both CD and vinyl form. The release date is Nov. 17.

The set will also include a 60-page book with “rarely-seen photos, memorabilia and original press clippings from Springsteen’s first decade as a recording artist,” according to a press release.

The albums are: “Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.,” “The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle,” “Born to Run,” “Darkness on the Edge of Town,” “The River,” “Nebraska” and “Born in the U.S.A.” All except “Born to Run” and “Darkness on the Edge of Town” have been remastered on CD for the first time.

The boxed set is currently available for pre-sale on Amazon at $49.99.
