Chris Robinson of The Chris Robinson Brotherhood performs at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, Aug. 18.

Former Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson brought his current band, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood, to the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, Aug. 18. The show, originally scheduled for the Pony’s outdoor Summer Stage (and also featuring Donavon Frankenreiter), was moved indoors because of inclement weather.

The Brotherhood, which has released five studio albums since 2012, is currently composed of Robinson on lead vocals and guitar, Neal Casal on guitar, Adam MacDougall on keyboards, Tony Leone on drums and Jeff Hill on bass. For information, visit chrisrobinsonbrotherhood.com.

Robinson’s brother and former Black Crowes partner, Rich Robinson, is out on the road this summer with his own band, The Magpie Salute.
