Faith Evans to honor The Notorious B.I.G. at this year’s Summer Jam

by JAY LUSTIG

Chris Brown, Fat Joe and Remy Ma, Trey Songz and Faith Evans will be among the performers at this year’s Summer Jam.

Faith Evans performed at the annual Summer Jam concert in June 1997, back when it was still held indoors at the Continental Airlines Arena. At the time, “I’ll Be Missing You,” her tribute to her late husband The Notorious B.I.G. (also featuring Puff Daddy and 112), was a huge hit.

She’ll be back at Summer Jam this year, June 11 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, presenting a “20 Years of B.I.G.” tribute.

The Notorious B.I.G., who died in March ’97, performed at the long-running Hot 97-hosted hip-hop extravaganza, too, in 1995.

Other artists booked for this year’s Summer Jam include Chris Brown, Fat Joe and Remy Ma, Migos, Desiigner, DJ Khaled and Friends, Trey Songz, French Montana and Friends, Tory Lanez, Joey Bada$$, Funk Flex and Friends, Konshens, Charly Black and Jidenna.

Performers who will appear on a stage in the parking lot, before the main concert starts, include Young M.A., A Boogie, Don Q, Dave West, Little Yachty, D.R.A.M., PnB Rock, Casanova and Phresher.

Tickets go on sale April 28 at noon; visit metlifestadium.com.
