Jim Reid of The Jesus and Mary Chain at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, Nov. 16.

The great ’80s alt-rock band The Jesus and Mary Chain broke up in 1999, but reassembled in 2007 and, this March, released their first studio album since 1998, Damage and Joy.

Brothers, co-songwriters and co-founders Jim and William lead the band, as they always have, with Jim singing lead and William playing guitar. They are joined in the current lineup by guitarist Scott Von Ryper, drummer Brian Young, and bassist Mark Crozer.

The Scottish band toured throughout the United States in October and November, finishing up with shows at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, Nov. 16, and the Playstation Theater in New York, Nov. 17. Here is the setlist from the Stone Pony and, under that, a photo gallery and some videos.
