NJPAC will present ‘An Evening With Lenny Kravitz’ on Sept. 18.

Lenny Kravitz and Wyclef Jean will talk about their music at the intimate Victoria Theater at NJPAC in Newark, as part of a new series entitled “An Evening With …”

Since opening in 2008, the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles has presented more than 800 of these programs, which feature conversation and, often, an informal performance. The NJPAC series will be presented in association with the Grammy Museum Experience, which opened last year, housing memorabilia displays and more at Newark’s Prudential Center.

The Kravitz event will take place Sept. 18 and feature a conversation with hip-hop drummer and producer Questlove (of The Roots). Wyclef Jean will be interviewed by Grammy Museum executive director Bob Santelli on Oct. 16. Both events will include a performance, as well.

Kravitz will release a new album, Raise Vibration, on Sept. 7.

Tickets for both events go on sale through Ticketmaster Aug. 24 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. Click here for Kravitz tickets; here for Jean tickets.
