Last year’s Light of Day festival raised $500,000 for Parkinson’s disease research. This year’s festival, scheduled for Jan. 8-18 — mostly in Asbury Park but also in other New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania locations — is just as ambitious. Tickets go on sale Saturday at noon via Ticketmaster.

Performers at the 16th annual edition of LOD will include Steve Forbert, Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers, Willie Nile and Band, James Maddock and Band, Jesse Malin and Band, Jill Hennessey, Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway, Milly, Marc Ribler & Friends, Joe D’Urso and Stone Caravan, Dramarama, the Billy Hector Band, the Beach Nuts, the Billy Walton Band, Bruce Tunkel and The Red House, Garland Jeffreys, Slim Chance and The Gamblers, The Sandy Mack Allstars, and Sonny Kenn.

As usual, Bruce Springsteen is not among the confirmed acts. But keep in mind that he has performed at the main Light of Day concert in 12 of the last 15 years. This year’s main concert takes place Jan. 16 at Asbury Park’s Paramount Theatre.

Here is the schedule, with lineups for individual shows to be announced later.
