Little Steven performs at the St. George Theatre in State Island, Sept. 27.

Since performing at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, Sept. 21, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul have stayed nearby, with shows at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., the Gramercy Theatre in Manhattan, and the St. George Theater in Staten Island. Below is a setlist and a photo gallery from the Staten Island show, which took place Sept. 27.

Also, below the gallery, there are two videos related to the show’s introduction. In the first video, you see the band’s 90-year-old fan, Bea Slater, introduce them as “the swingin’-est, ginchiest, rockin’-est, awesomest super-rad band in the land.” In the second, you see Van Zandt coaching her, before the show.

Later, on Twitter (@MOMaGoGo90), Slater called the experience a “dream come true” and “a thrill I’ll never forget.”

Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul don’t have any New Jersey appearances currently scheduled, but there are two more shows coming up nearby: at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, Oct. 1; and The Paramount in Huntington, N.Y., Oct. 4. For information, visit littlesteven.com.

Thanks very much to Wes Orshoski, for the photo gallery; and to Slater’s son, Mitch, for the videos.
