GLEN BURTNIK

Glen Burtnik usually does not reveal the lineup of his annual Xmas Xtravaganza charity concert ahead of time, but has done so this year. According to the web site of the State Theatre in New Brunswick, where the Xtravaganza — featuring rock versions of holiday classics — will take place Dec. 9 at 8 p.m., the lineup will include E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg; Patty Smyth, who wrote “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” with Burtnik (recorded as a duet by Smyth and Don Henley, the song was a Top 10 hit in 1992); The Weeklings and others.

Others in the cast include Marshall Crenshaw, Remember Jones, Williams Honor, Brielle Von Hugel, Emily Grove, Tom Brislin, Tony Shanahan (of Patti Smith’s band), Jigs, Lindsey DeSena, Erin Hill, Chuck Buck, Jerzy Jung, Mark Sacco, Jamie Hannigan, Serena Soffer, The Ocean Avenue Stompers, Kayla Hutchins, Jillian Rhys, Sheri Gilmore, Alicia Van Sant, Gina Hyams, Evelyn Leone, Tricia Mozgai, Michele Petrie, Patti Maloney, Darla Rose Taylor, Sally Burtnick, Christina Shafer-Burtnik and the North Brunswick Township High School Percussion Ensemble.

One dollar from every ticket sold will go to both the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Elijah’s Promise anti-hunger organization.
