Priscilla Presley to talk about Elvis in New Brunswick

Priscilla Presley will make an appearance at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, Oct. 27.

Priscilla Presley will talk about her husband, Elvis, in an event titled “Elvis & Me: An Evening With Priscilla Presley,” Oct. 27 at the State Theatre in New Brunswick. Tickets go on sale Aug. 18 at 10 a.m.; visit stnj.org.

According to the venue’s web site, the show will have “an intimate interview format where she will answer audience questions and share stories.”

(Oct. 6 update: E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg will host this event.)

Priscilla, née Priscilla Ann Wagner, married Elvis in 1967. She was 21 and he was 32. She remained married to him until 1973, and he died in 1977.

Priscilla, now 72, is also known as an actress, having appeared in the “Dallas” television series, the “Naked Gun” movies, and other TV shows and films. And she co-founded Elvis Presley Enterprises, which oversees a number of Presley-related businesses.

There will also be a show at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury in Westbury, N.Y., Oct. 29. No host is listed on the venue’s web site.
