Saying “it’s the peace and loving thing we do for each other,” Ringo Starr has rescheduled his 2020 North American tour with his All-Starr Band to 2021 because of the coronavirus crisis.

The tour will now take place in June 2021. The June 14, 2020 show at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park has been moved to June 1, 2021. The June 7, 2020 show at the State Theatre in Easton, Pa., has been moved to June 6, 2021. June June 2, 5 and 9, 2020 shows at the Beacon Theatre in New York have been moved to June 8-9 and 11, 2021. The June 7, 2020 show at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank has been moved to June 12, 2021. And the June 21, 2020 show at the Metropolitan Opera House in Philadelphia has been moved to June 20, 2021.

“This is very difficult for me,” Starr said in a press release. “In 30 years I think I’ve only missed two or three gigs, never mind a whole tour. But this is how things are for all of us now, I have to stay in just like you have to stay in, and we all know it’s the peace and loving thing we do for each other.

“My fans know I love them, and I love to play for them and I can’t wait to see you all as soon as possible. In the meantime stay safe. Peace and Love to you all.”

The All Starr Band will include Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette and Hamish Stuart.

Will there be a refund or will our tickets be valid for new date?

I don’t think they’ve officially announced that yet but usually in cases like these, the ticket will be honored on the new date BUT you can also get a refund, if you’d prefer. I recommend contact the venue’s box office for more details.
