As part of an Oct. 18 benefit concert at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, Steve Earle, Joan Osborne, Anders Osborne and Jackie Greene, backed by Jason Crosby on piano, performed two Tom Petty hits in tribute to the late rock icon: “You Don’t Know How It Feels” and “I Won’t Back Down.”

Check out a video of the performance, below.

Also as part of the show, Earle performed Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land,” changing some words in protest of President Trump:

And as I rambled, I saw a sign there
And on that sign said, Trump Tower
But on the other side, it said “Made in China.”
Or maybe Russia, let’s just wait and see.

There is a video of that, too, below.

The show benefited The Blue Rose Foundation, which is is based in California and, according to its web site, it “was created to honor the memories of our family members, friends, teachers, and mentors. To pay tribute to those who inspired us, we support programs that give children the ability to reach new heights of success. Reaching at-risk children early is critical to this success. Nobel Prize-winning Professor of Economics James Heckman has demonstrated that investing in pre-kindergarten programs for disadvantaged children provides a significant return on investment to society, improving literacy, high school graduation and employment rates, as well as reducing delinquency and violence.”
