Sirius XM satellite radio will be showcasing music by Light of Day participants at various times from Friday through Tuesday.

Willie Nile and Joe D’Urso will be guest DJ’ing on Sirius XM satellite radio Friday at 4 p.m., playing music by artists who are participating in the Light of Day benefit shows taking place this fall and winter.

The roughly one-hour show will air on channel 20 (the home of E Street Radio, devoted mainly to the music of Light of Day supporter Bruce Springsteen) and be re-broadcast Friday at midnight, Saturday at 8 a.m., Monday at 4 p.m. and midnight, and Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Nile and D’Urso will be playing music by Ed Manion, The Hooters, Joe Grushecky, Jesse Malin, Jake Clemons and themselves, as well as by Springsteen.

There will be Light of Day shows in Canada from Friday through Nov. 14; in Mamaroneck, N.Y. on Nov. 15; in Europe from Nov. 27 to Dec. 14; and in Asbury Park, Montclair, New Brunswick, Philadelphia and New York, Jan. 8-17. For information, visit LightOfDay.org.

The concert series, now in its 16th year, raises money for Parkinson’s disease research.
