The 79th edition of Low Cut Connie’s “Tough Cookies” livestream, to be shown Feb. 20 at 6 p.m., is being produced in partnership with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and will feature interviews with Sly & the Family Stone members Jerry Martini, Larry Graham, Freddie Stone and Greg Errico, as well as Phunne Stone, the daughter of Sly Stone and the late Family Stone member Cynthia Robinson.

“I’m so happy to be able to help tell the story of one of the greatest bands of all time,” said Low Cut Connie’s Adam Weiner in a press release. “Sly & the Family Stone expanded our minds and moved our asses like no other before, and I’m just so impressed that the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame trusted me and ‘Tough Cookies’ with this project.”

The show will stream on Low Cut Connie’s Facebook, YouTube and Twitter accounts, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Facebook, YouTube and Twitter accounts.

The weekly “Tough Cookies” shows, which take place at Weiner’s home in Philadelphia, previously have featured interviews with musicians such as Darlene Love, Joan Osborne, Big Freedia and Aaron Lee Tasjan, and writer Nick Hornby.
