In what is becoming a tradition, Springsteen invited Elvis Presley impersonator Nick Ferraro, whom he has dubbed The Philly Elvis, onstage with him at The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelpia.

Friday night, during “Dancing in the Dark,” Springsteen held up his sign reading “CAN THE PHILLY ELVIS DANCE w/Soozie,” referring to singer-guitarist-violinist Soozie Tyrell. Then the Boss allowed him to do just that. Check out the video below.

Springsteen gave Ferraro the name The Philly Elvis when he invited him out of the crowd, wearing his Presley costume, to sing “All Shook Up” and part of “Blue Suede Shoes” with the E Street Band at a 2009 concert at The Spectrum in Philly. You can watch that video below as well.

Other notable songs performed at The Wells Fargo Center on Friday included “Jungleland,” “Atlantic City” and “My Love Will Not Let You Down.” The setlist is below, under the videos.

Here is the setlist from Friday night at The Wells Fargo Center. As he is doing on all shows on this tour, Springsteen performed his 1980 double album The River in its entirety. Those songs are in bold.

Unless Bruce and the band have a time machine, last night’s show was at The Wells Fargo Center, not The Spectrum.

But back in 2009, it was at the Spectrum that Bruce named him ‘the Philly Elvis’, so the article is correct. Whoever responded did mot read the article carefully enough.
