Deseree “Des” Spinks and her band the Swagmatics perform in “The Watermark Series,” March 6.

Watermark in Asbury Park will be the site of “The Watermark Series,” a weekly series of shows that will have small in-person, socially distanced audiences and also be streamed online.

The nonprofit Asbury Park-based company Asbury Sunset Presents has organized the series, which is designed both to give musicians a place to play and generate money for local nonprofits.

The shows will take place Saturdays at 5 p.m., with six guests attendance, chosen at random through email submissions to AsburySunsetPresents@Gmail.com or via donations to the musicians and the non-profits via PayPal @AsburySunsetPresents. (No contribution is required to enter.)

The artists and the charities to be featured include:

Feb. 6: Malibu. Benefitting Asbury Park Dinner Table.

Feb. 13: Jake Thistle. Benefiting Light of Day.

Feb. 20: Sean Tobin & the Boardwalk Fire, premiering their St. Patrick’s Day Forever EP. Benefitting Asbury Park Dinner Table.
