Just when you though the whole Whitney Houston saga couldn’t get any more bizarre, or sad …

The Hologram USA company and Pat Houston, president of the Whitney Houston Estate, announced today that they intend to create a Whitney Houston hologram and build a concert tour around it, next year. The show will also be distributed to digital outlets and satellite and cable TV via FilmOn.com.

Alki David, CEO of Hologram USA, said in a press release that the show will be “the ultimate celebration of Whitney’s amazing artistry,” and Pat Houston, who was Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager, called it “a reinvention of one the most celebrated female artists in history.” The press release also said that the show “will feature a selection of her greatest hits and will be interactive, incorporating audiences and special guests.”

Hologram USA is also behind the recently announced plans to bring a Billie Holiday hologram show to the Apollo Theater in New York, and is creating hologram shows with the estates of Patsy Cline, Buddy Holly, Bing Crosby and others.

It is also planning to create a hologram “comedy club” at the National Comedy Center in Jamestown, N.Y., where deceased legends such as Bob Hope and Milton Berle will “perform.”
