Just when you though the whole Whitney Houston saga couldn’t get any more bizarre, or sad …

The Hologram USA company and Pat Houston, president of the Whitney Houston Estate, announced today that they intend to create a Whitney Houston hologram and build a concert tour around it, next year. The show will also be distributed toĀ digital outlets andĀ satellite and cable TV via FilmOn.com.

Alki David, CEO of Hologram USA, said in aĀ press releaseĀ that the show will be “the ultimate celebration of Whitneyā€™s amazing artistry,” and Pat Houston, who was Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager, called itĀ “aĀ reinvention of one the most celebrated female artists in history.” The press releaseĀ also said that the show “will feature a selection of her greatest hits and will be interactive, incorporating audiences and special guests.”

Hologram USA is also behind the recently announced plans to bring a Billie Holiday hologram show to the Apollo Theater in New York, and isĀ creating hologram shows with the estates of Patsy Cline, Buddy Holly, Bing Crosby and others.

It is also planning to create a hologram “comedy club” at the National Comedy Center in Jamestown, N.Y., where deceased legends such as Bob Hope and Milton Berle will “perform.”
