(April 30 Update: Meryl Streep will not be able to attend due to an acting commitment. She will receive her award another year.)

For the first time, the New Jersey Hall of Fame will live-stream its induction ceremony, on Facebook.

The May 6 ceremony, which will take place at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, is sold out, but those who would like to watch elsewhere can do so at facebook.com/nj.com. Simply “like” the page ahead of time and you will be notified when the feed is live.

There will be a house band, led by Glen Burtnik, at the ceremony, and Tommy James, who was inducted into the hall last year, has been confirmed as a guest performer.

Inductees will include:

Performing Arts: Steven Van Zandt, The Four Seasons (Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, Nick Massi, Joe Long), Gloria Gaynor, Debbie Harry.

Arts & Letters: Harlan Coben, Anna Quindlen.

Enterprise: Buddy “The Cake Boss” Valastro, Jon Hanson, Steve Forbes, Joe Buckelew.

Public Service: Mark and Scott Kelly, Clara Maass, Millicent Fenwick.

Sports: Al Leiter, Mary Decker, Carli Lloyd.

Unsung Hero: TBA.

All living inductees are expected to attend.
