System of a Down performed the first of their two shows at MetLife Stadium, Aug. 27.
At the first of their two concerts at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, Aug. 27, System of a Down paid tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne by performing the 1972 Black Sabbath song, “Snowblind.” You can watch the performance, below.

Guitarist Daron Malakian told the crowd prior to the song: “I want to thank Ozzy Osbourne. We want to thank Ozzy Osbourne. The Ozzfest … We did a few Ozzfests. Some of you are old enough that you were there. Some of you weren’t even born yet. I want to thank Ozzy Osbourne. We want to thank Ozzy Osbourne.”
The crowd then broke into a chant of “Ozzy! Ozzy!”
System of a Down will perform at MetLife Stadium again, Aug. 28 at 5:30 p.m. They are double-billed with Korn, with Polyphia and Wisp opening. Visit ticketmaster.com.
