Aug. 12: Guns N’ Roses will perform at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, with Public Enemy opening.
Aug. 15: Morristown Jazz and Blues Festival at Morristown Green. With Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Dylan Triplett, LaBamba & the Hubcaps, Richard Baratta‘s Gotham City Latin/Jazz Septet, James Langton’s New York All-Star Big Band, more.
Aug. 15: Montclair Jazz Festival Downtown Jamboree. With Dianne Reeves, The Christian McBride Big Band (with Bilal), Patrice Rushen, The Take Me to the River New Orleans All-Stars (featuring Cyril Neville), The Spanish Harlem Orchestra, The Jazz House Collective, The Jazz House All Stars, Alphonso Horne & the Gotham Kings.
Sept. 4-6: Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival at Salem County Fairgrounds, Woodstown. With Kathy Mattea, Dan Tyminski Band, The Travelin’ McCourys, Danny Paisley & the Southern Grass, Blue Highway, The Gibson Brothers, others.
Sept. 18-20: XPoNential Music Festival, Camden Waterfront. With Portugal. The Man, Dawes, Little Feat, Cyril Neville, Budos Band, others.
Sept. 19-20: Sea Hear Now festival, Asbury Park. With Mumford & Sons, The Strokes, The Offspring, Goo Goo Dolls, Chaka Khan, Fontaines D.C., The War on Drugs, Moby, The All-American Rejects, Pixies, Shaggy, Ziggy Marley, Men at Work, Kim Gordon, Susanna Hoffs, Ben Howard, Fitz & the Tantrums, Anders Osborne and others.
Oct. 15-17: Dodge Poetry Festival with Patti Smith, Arthur Sze, Tyehimba Jess, Elizabeth Acevedo, others, at NJPAC and other Newark venues.
Oct. 16-25: Montclair Film Festival.
Oct. 22-25: Exit Zero Jazz Festival, Cape May. With Kenny Garrett, Marcus Miller, Chucho Valdés, Danilo Pérez Trio, Michael Mayo, The Eddie Palmieri Experience, Marel Hidalgo Sextet, Brian Betz-Behn Gillece Quartet, others.
