Bruno Mars will perform in East Rutherford in August.
Bruno Mars’ upcoming The Romantic Tour will include shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, Aug. 21-22, with Anderson .Paak (appearing under the pseudonym DJ Pee .Wee) and Raye opening. Tickets will go on sale Jan. 15 at noon, with pre-sales beginning Jan. 14 at noon; visit ticketmaster.com.
Mars, who is 40, will release his next album, The Romantic, on Feb. 27. He has also just released its first single, “I Just Might”; you can watch the video below.
Mars’ only other currently scheduled area appearance will be at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sept. 1. His tour is scheduled to be in North America in April and May; in Europe in June and July; and then back in North America from August to October.
Mars’ only previous appearance at MetLife Stadium came at the halftime show of Super Bowl XLVIII, in 2014. He did, though, perform in the Meadowlands parking lot at The Bamboozle Festival in 2011. His other New Jersey appearances have been at The Prudential Center in Newark in 2013, 2017 and 2018, and The Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden in 2011 and 2014.
