Carolyn Dorfman Dance, Special EFX and more will be part of 2025-26 season at Bickford Theatre

Carolyn Dorfman Dance will present “Dances of Hope” at The Bickford Theatre, Dec. 7.

Carolyn Dorfman Dance, guitarist Chieli Minucci’s jazz-fusion group Special EFX, jazz pianist Alex Bugnon and The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey will be among the attractions in the 2025-26 season at The Bickford Theatre at The Morris Museum in Morris Township. Tickets are already on sale for museum members but will go on sale to the general public, Aug. 20.

The Special EFX and Bugnon shows will launch a new series, All That Jazz, presented in partnership with WBGO.

Oct. 11: Special EFX
Oct. 15: “St. Peter’s and the Papal Basilicas of Rome” (film)
Nov. 9: Lyrica Chamber Music. Program includes Dvořák’s A major piano quintet and more.
Nov. 12: “Caravaggio” (film)
Nov. 14 and 16: Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey. Program includes works by Beethoven, Verdi and others.
Nov. 22: Alex Bugnon

Dec. 17: “Lotto and Berenson: Crossed Destinies” (film)
Dec. 20: Water Gap Jazz Orchestra. Program includes Duke Ellington’s “Nutcracker Suite” and the orchestra’s own “Grinch Suite.”
Jan. 11: Martin Pizzarelli, “Celebrating Bucky Pizzarelli.” Jan. 9, 2026 marks the 100th anniversary of guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli’s birth; he died in 2020. His son and frequent musical collaborator Martin will lead this tribute.
Jan. 27: Orpheus Chamber Orchestra with violinist Stella Chen
Feb. 18: “Painting the Soul of the 20th Century: Pellizza da Volpedo” (film
March 11: “Turner & Constable” (film)
May 13: “Water Lilies by Monet: The Magic of Water and Light” (film)
June 3: “Frida: Vida la Vida” (film)
