This year’s Asbury Park Music and Film Festival will include an event devoted to rare Bob Dylan film clips.

For the third year in a row, rare Bob Dylan film clips from the Bob Dylan Archive at the University of Tulsa will be screened at the Asbury Park Music and Film Festival.

“Dylan Archives III” will take place April 29 at 12:30 p.m. at the House of Independents, and tickets are $20; visit houseofindependents.com.

Dylan’s manager, Jeff Rosen, who is a member of the festival’s board, introduced the clips and spoke about them briefly at the first two events. To see my coverage of those screenings, click here for year one, and here for year two.

The festival takes place April 27-29. The complete schedule is not available yet but events will include a concert featuring Bobby Bandiera & Friends, and Patrick Davis & His Midnight Choir, at the Stone Pony, April 27; the world premiere of the documentary “Break on Thru: A Celebration of Ray Manzarek and The Doors,” April 28 at House of Independents; and a screening of the Grateful Dead documentary, “Long Strange Trip,” April 29 at House of Independents.
