NJArts.net creates ‘Pictures With Bruce’ Facebook group

Here are some of the photos that have been posted on the new “Pictures With Bruce” Facebook page.

Responding to the phenomenon of people posting, on Facebook, the photos they’ve taken with Bruce Springsteen at his book events this week — and the reverberating excitement from those events — NJArts.net has created a Facebook group, “Pictures With Bruce,” with the goal of gathering as many of those pictures as possible in one place.

As of 2 p.m. Oct. 1, 124 people had joined the group and 63 photos had been posted. Most were taken at this week’s book events, though some were from various points in the past, which is great. All photos are welcome. (Update: As of 8 a.m. Oct. 11, the group had 458 members and almost 300 photos posted.)

One can view the photos without joining the group. Those who post photos are invited to include some comments about them as well, if they wish.

Springsteen has five more book-related appearances scheduled, from Oct. 3 to Oct. 10, in Los Angeles, Portland, Ore., San Francisco, New York and Cambridge, Mass. For information, visit brucespringsteen.net,
