Joe Bonamassa will perform in Newark, June 28, as part of the North to Shore Festival.

The fourth annual North to Shore Festival will take place from June 13 to June 28, mostly in Newark and Asbury Park. Most of the shows will go on sale Feb. 27 at 10 a.m., though a few are on sale already, including blues singer-songwriter-guitarist Joe Bonamassa at NJPAC in Newark, June 28; and Primus and other bands at The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, June 13.

North to Shore is produced by NJPAC in collaboration with a variety of partners, sponsors and community organizations. “This is a festival that celebrates New Jersey as a destination for innovation and artistic expression, through the performing arts, the visual arts, film and more,” said NJPAC executive producer and executive vice president David Rodriguez, in a press release.

North to Shore also includes events in Atlantic City, year-round.

At least two shows at the new outdoor ParkStage series at The East Freehold Showgrounds — Sublime, June 19, and The Head and the Heart, June 26 — will be part of North to Shore as well. Those shows will go on sale this week.

According to North to Shore, more than 160,000 people attended festival events last year.
