Mumford & Sons will bring a music festival of their own to Seaside Heights in June.

New Jersey hasn’t seen a music festival like this since Metallica’s Orion Music + More in 2012: Mumford & Sons will bring its own festival, called Gentlemen of the Road Stopover, to Seaside Heights on June 5-6. Artists selected by Mumford & Sons to also perform include Alabama Shakes, The Flaming Lips, The Vaccines, The Maccabees, Dawes, The Very Best, Jenny Lewis, Little May, JEFF the Brotherhood and Blake Mills, with more expected to be added.

There will be several stages, with the main stage on the beach.

Unlike Orion Music + More, which came only to Atlantic City that year, Gentlemen of the Road Stopover will visit other cities, though the lineup will be different at each stop.

The band said in a statement: “The Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers are all about live music. We get to put them on in towns not normally frequented by touring bands in busses (sic) or splitter vans. We deliberately look for towns that have something unique, or some vibe of which they are proud, explore them and enjoy what they have to offer.”

Other cities scheduled for this year include Waverly, Iowa; Aviemore, Scotland, U.K.; Walla Walla, Wash., and Salida, Colo.

The band also presented Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers in 2012 and 2013.

Two-day passes, priced at $179, go on sale at 10 a.m. March 6; for information, visit gentlemenoftheroad.com.

The band will release its third album, Wilder Mind, May 4.
