The Bongos’ postponed March 20 concert at the Outpost in the Burbs in Montclair has been moved to Sept. 11.

The Outpost in the Burbs in Montclair has announced new dates for five of its spring shows.

The Bongos will now perform on Sept. 11, followed by Robyn Hitchcock, Oct. 9; Alex Cuba, Oct. 10; Red Molly, Dec. 4; and Suzzy Roche and Lucy Wainwright Roche, March 18.

Tickets will be honored on the new dates. The Outpost adds in a mailing: “If you are unable to make the new date of a concert, we ask that you kindly consider making a donation to our organization or give them as a gift. As we are a not-for-profit community service organization, this will help to ensure that we continue to thrive when we resume our concert season. In addition, we have on-going monthly expenses during this time (office rent, internet, etc.) so your generous support would be deeply appreciated.”

Two other shows, by Shawn Colvin and Alejandro Escovedo, have also been postponed, though their new dates are not available yet.

Those who want refunds for tickets purchased online should email info@outpostintheburbs.org. For those who bought physical tickets, the Outpost says it is working out a way to process refunds “in a contactless way” and will announce more information soon.
