Daryl Hall & John Oates and Squeeze will be touring together this year. It’s not the most obvious pairing, but one that makes sense on a lot of levels. Most of the dates will be from late May to early September, though there also will be some scattered shows before then.
They will perform, along with KT Tunstall, at the PNC Bank Arts Center, Aug. 27. Tickets go on sale Jan. 24 at 10 a.m., with presales starting Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. Visit livenation.com.
The three will also perform at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, Feb. 28; and the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh, N.Y., Aug. 25. Squeeze (but not Tunstall) will also join Hall & Oates at the duo’s HoagieNation festival in Philadelphia, May 23, with details to be announced.
“Squeeze are unique, have great songs and don’t sound like anybody else,” Oates told Rolling Stone. “I’ve been a fan of theirs from the very beginning and our audience is going to love them.”
“I had the pleasure of seeing an awesome show of theirs in Kentucky last year, and feel that we are a match made in heaven, to be consummated at every show!” said Squeeze’s Glenn Tilbrook, in a statement.
