Bruce Springsteen has announced his Land of Hope & Dreams American Tour.

Bruce Springsteen’s upcoming politically themed Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour will pointedly begin in Minneapolis, March 31; end in Washington, D.C., May 27; and include six shows in New Jersey and nearby. The band will be at The Prudential Center in Newark, April 20; The UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York, May 5; The Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, May 8; Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, May 11 and 16; and The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, May 14. Springsteen said in a press release: “We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair — the cavalry is coming! Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be taking the stage this spring from Minneapolis to California to Texas to Washington, D.C. for the Land of Hope And Dreams American Tour. We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America — American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream — all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C. Everyone, regardless of where you stand or what you believe in, is welcome — so come on out and join the United Free Republic of E Street Nation for an American spring of Rock ‘n’ Rebellion! I’ll see you there!”

Artwork for the tour includes the phrase, “No Kings.”

Springsteen recently released a protest single, “Streets of Minneapolis” (watch video below), and performed it live at a benefit concert organized by Tom Morello in Minneapolis.

The E Street Band will be honored at The Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music’s fourth annual American Music Honors show at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, April 18, and Springsteen is confirmed to attend.
