The Stray Cats (from left, Brian Setzer, Slim Jim Phantom and Lee Rocker) will in Atlantic City and Morristown this summer.
The Stray Cats cancelled their Fall 2025 tour due to a “serious illness” that frontman Brian Setzer had to deal with, but he is healthy again and the band will return to the road this summer, with stops including The Ocean Casino Resorts in Atlantic City, Aug. 15; and The Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, Aug. 16.
Tickets for both shows will go on sale March 13 at 10 a.m., after various earlier pre-sales. Visit ticketmaster.com for Atlantic City, mayoarts.org for Morristown.
“It’s good to be healthy and strong again,” said Setzer in a press release. “There’s something about the unique sound of The Stray Cats that keeps drawing me in. The Gretsch guitar, the acoustic bass, and the stand-up drums still sound pure and fresh today.”
The trio — also featuring drummer Slim Jim Phantom and bassist Lee Rocker — are known for ’80s hits such as “Stray Cat Strut,” “Rock This Town” and “(She’s) Sexy + 17,” and released two new songs, including a cover of Eddie Cochran’s 1959 single “Teenage Heaven,” last year.
Their tour is currently scheduled to last from July 24 to Aug. 16. For the complete list of dates, visit straycats.com.
