Roots-rocker Alejandro Escovedo has been confirmed as one of the performers at this year’s Maplewoodstock Music & Art Festival, which takes place July 11-12 at Memorial Park in Maplewood. The Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter will perform second to last on July 12.
Most of the rest of the lineup for the free festival has been announced as well, though the headliners for both July 11 and 12 won’t be announced until after June 1.
Also in the lineup for July 12 are The DeLorean Sisters, Oxygen Box, Claire Khodara, Thursday Habit, Big Radio, TriState, Brother Valiant, The Accelerators and Atlas Bloom.
July 11 performers will include Queen Ella, JJ Blues Band, Kwame Binae Shakedown, Moodring, The Baby Please, StarFish, Jane Lee Hooker, Pat Karwan, Chis Alleyne, Hoochie Coochie Men and Rose Boulevard.
