Avenel Arts Center to open in March; tickets on sale Jan. 31

The new Avenel Performing Arts Center has scheduled dozens of shows, to begin in March, with tickets going on sale Jan. 31. Located at 150 Avenel St., this is a 13,500-square-foot, 200-seat facility that is funded by the Woodbridge Arts Alliance, and can accommodate music, theater, comedy and dance presentations, and more.

The building will have its own bar and restaurant, Curtains, which is scheduled to open in April.

This is an artist’s version; the real building does not look like that, also is not finished yet. One problem that is not mentioned: there is NO public parking at this site.

And where exactly will patrons of the Arts Center park?? This Arts Center is at the foot entrance to the Station Village Apartments. The only parking there is only available to those residents.
