‘Bruce Brunch’ will play Springsteen requests in return for food bank donations

In an annual tradition, Tom Cunningham’s “Bruce Brunch” radio show on Shore radio station 105.7 The Hawk (WCHR-FM) will take Bruce Springsteen song requests from those who make a minimum $25 donation to Fulfill (formerly known as The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties).

Requests will be taken on this week’s show — starting at 9 a.m. Nov. 19 — and be played on Nov. 26. They can be made with credit card donations at (732) 643-5891 during the Nov. 19 show. There will be space for 20 requests, and personal dedications are welcome.

“The Bruce Brunch” usually last from 9 to 11 a.m. but will be extended to noon on Nov. 26.

“I look forward to the all-request show every year,” said Cunningham in a press release. “In addition to helping to raise thousands of dollars over the years for our local FoodBank, the folks who participate always come up with some amazing requests and dedications.”
