Centenary Stage company’s Front Porch Series will feature “Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical,” July 8.

The Centenary Stage Company will offer live children’s entertainment in its Family Front Porch Series, featuring three July events on the front porch of the Seay Building at Centenary University in Hackettstown.

Each show will be one of the offerings in Centenary’s Young Audience Series, which presents musicals for children at various venues throughout the country.

The outdoor, 11 a.m. Wednesday shows, with masks and social distancing “strongly encouraged” (according to a press release), will be:

July 8: “Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical”
July 22: “Miss Nelson Is Missing!”
July 29: “School House Rock Live! Jr.”

The shows are free, though reservations are required and space is limited. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis (starting at 10 a.m.), and lawn chair, beach chair or picnic blanket are recommended.
