The Charitybuzz website will auction off pairs of tickets to all the concerts on Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band’s upcoming tour, with proceeds going to The Kristen Ann Carr Fund. Visit charitybuzz.com/KACF to bid or find out more.
These are Premium tickets, with access to the “E Street Lounge” (except in cases where the venue is not creating an E Street Lounge).
As of today (Jan. 6), only the tour’s first four shows, taking place Feb. 1-7, are being bid on. But Charitybuzz says all the other shows will be added.
Tickets for the United States shows will be auctioned off individually. For the European dates, one auction per city will be available and auction participants will pick the show after winning. Bidding will begin on Feb. 28 for the European shows.
The Kristen Ann Carr Fund support sarcoma research, and helps sarcoma patients. It was founded in 1993 in honor of Kristen Ann Carr, who died of sarcoma. Carr was the daughter of longtime music manager Barbara Carr and journalist Dave Marsh.
The tour is currently scheduled to run from Feb. 1 to April 14 in the United States, and from April 28 to July 25 in Europe. It is possible that Springsteen and the E Street Band will add more U.S. shows in the late summer and/or fall.
According to Charitybuzz, the company has raised more than $550 million for various charities since being founded in 2005.
