Cheap Trick fans who saw the group open for Poison at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, June 23, got an unexpected treat: A guest appearance by British singer-songwriter Terry Reid, whose “Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace” the band covered on its self-titled 1977 debut album. Reid sang the song with the band in Holmdel (see video below) as part of their 13-song set, which also included their current single, “The Summer Looks Good on You.”
