Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen will perform at this year’s Crawfish Fest.
Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Galactic, Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience, Marcia Ball and Rockin’ Dopsie Jr. & the Zydeco Twisters will be among the artists at the 2025 Crawfish Fest. Alison Kaufman of the radio station 103.7 NNJ has done video or audio interviews with 12 of the artists, so I have collected them below, along with music videos for every artist.
The festival, featuring Louisiana food as well as Louisiana music, will take place at The Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, May 30-31 and June 1, with overnight camping available on May 30 and 31. (The late-night music on May 30-31 will be for campers and King Crawfish Krewe ticketholders only).
Louisiana native Michael Arnone began presenting annual New Jersey Crawfish Fests in 1989. Because of the pandemic, there was no Crawfish Fest in 2020 and 2021, but it returned in 2022 with Tab Benoit, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Samantha Fish and others. There were no Crawfish Fests in 2023 or 2024.
