The 2019 Sea.Hear.Now Festival has announced its co-headliners.

The Dave Matthews Band and The Lumineers will co-headline Asbury Park’s second annual Sea.Hear.Now Festival, with the full lineup to be announced in early spring.

The festival will feature more than 25 bands, Sept. 21-22. Two-day ($125) and two-day VIP ($385) tickets go on sale Jan. 23 at 10 a.m.; visit seahearnowfestival.com.

The first Sea.Hear.Now festival, in September 2018, attracted more than 45,000 attendees over its two days, which featured sets by Jack Johnson, Incubus, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Brandi Carlile, Blondie and others, plus a surprise appearance by Bruce Springsteen (with Social Distortion).

In addition to the music on three stages (two on the beach, one in nearby Bradley Park), the festival features surfing contests and demonstrations, visual arts, food vendors and jam sessions.

The Asbury Park date is currently the last stop on the Dave Matthews Band’s just-announced 2019 North American tour, which will also include concerts at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, June 14-15.

The Lumineers have no other New Jersey shows currently scheduled.
