A filmed conversation between Eddie Vedder and Bruce Springsteen, tied to the released of the Pearl Jam frontman’s new solo album Earthling, will be released on Amazon Live, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m., and will also be made available on Vedder’s YouTube page starting on Feb. 13. (UPDATE: The Video is now on YouTube and has been embedded below.)
Feb. 11 is also the release date of Earthling, which features guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, Ringo Starr and Elton John.
The conversation was filmed at Springsteen’s Colt’s Neck farm on Feb. 5. Performing at NJPAC in Newark on Feb. 6, Vedder told the crowd, “I spent some real quality time yesterday with one of my best pals from Jersey. He interviewed me for a little thing that’ll come out. He liked the record (Earthling) and we got to hang out together and I came in today feeling pretty fucking inspired, because I got to spend a little time with The Boss.”
Springsteen’s longtime associate, Thom Zimny, directed the film of the conversation.
