Jackson Browne’s 2017 tour will include stop at NJPAC

Jackson Browne will perform at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, April 6.

Jackson Browne will bring his (Pretty Much) Somewhat Acoustic Tour, which includes 14 shows in April, to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, April 6. He will be joined at this show by multi-intrumentalist Greg Leisz.

Tickets, from from $49.50 to $99.50, go on sale Nov. 18 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. (for VIP packages) and Nov. 17 at 10 a.m.; visit njpac.com.

Also, “Benefit Seats” will be available, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m., through the Guacamole Fund, which, according to its web site, “assists environmental, social change, cultural and service organizations by facilitating, organizing and producing benefit concerts, rallies, special ticket sales, receptions and media campaigns.” Visit guacfund.org.

Browne will also perform at the St. George Theatre in Staten Island, April 12. This show will feature the brother-and-sister team of Sean and Sara Watkins (both of Nickel Creek), in addition to Weisz.

Browne’s last studio album was Standing in the Breach, in 2014.
