The Jersey-based Jem Records label — which has previously released multi-artist tribute albums honoring John Lennon, Brian Wilson and Pete Townshend — will continue the series with an album of songs written by The Kinks’ Ray Davies. Jem Records Celebrates Ray Davies will be released on Aug. 11.

Starting on May 27, disc jockey Chris Carter will debut one song a week on his “British Invasion” show, which is broadcast on SiriusXM satellite radio’s Underground Garage Channel (channel 21), Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 4 to 8 p.m.
