Justin Timberlake — who will release a new album, Man of the Woods, on Feb. 2 — has announced details of his upcoming The Man of the Woods Tour, which will include a March 25 show at the Prudential Center in Newark, as well as one at Madison Square Garden in New York, March 21.
According to a press release, Timberlake’s new album, to be released on the RCA label, “will give a self-reflective look at his journey into fatherhood, and offer up personal insight into his layered life experiences.” The album was co-written and co-produced by Timberlake, Timbaland and Danja, with additional writing by James Fauntleroy and Larrance Dopson.
The tour is scheduled to begin March 13 in Toronto, and end May 30 in Memphis.
“The outdoors is the inspiration for a lot of these songs,” said Timberlake in a promotional video (see below). “That’s the main idea. The tour will be able to bring the outside in.”
Timberlake will also headline the Super Bowl LII halftime show at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Feb. 4.
