As part of this year’s Montclair Film Festival, Stephen Colbert will interview Martin Scorsese at NJPAC in Newark, Oct. 27. Tickets will go on sale Sept. 16 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales for Montclair Film members Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. and American Express members and NJPAC donors, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. Visit ticketmaster.com.
The event’s official title is “Montclair Film Tribute to Martin Scorsese Hosted by Stephen Colbert.”
All proceeds will benefit Montclair Film, which produces the Montclair Film Festival; owns and operates The Clairidge movie theater in Montclair; and offers film-related educational programs year-round.
Scorsese’s next movie, “Killers of the Flower Moon” — co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone — will be released on Oct. 20. You can watch a trailer for it, below.
The 12th annual Montclair Film Festival takes place Oct. 20-29, with the full program being announced on Sept. 29.
Colbert is a member of the festival’s advisory board and his wife, Evelyn, is the president of its board of trustees. In the past, Colbert has interviewed people such as Meryl Streep, Daniel Craig, Jimmy Fallon and Jon Stewart as benefits for the fest.
