MAX WEINBERG

Max Weinberg’s Jukebox — featuring the E Street Band drummer with members of The Weeklings plus keyboardist Dave Biglin — will headline the main concert of the Light of Day WinterFest 2024, Jan. 20 at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank.

The group, which was founded in 2017, plays classic rock covers — songs originally recorded by The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, The Who and many others — that are requested by audience members.

Tickets will range from $89.50 to $425.50.

It also has been announced that Tusk (the Fleetwood Mac tribute band) and Taylor Simon King (paying tribute to James Taylor, Carly Simon and Carole King) will present a Light of Day show at the Basie, Jan. 12.

Tickets for both shows will go on sale Nov. 10 at 10 a.m.; visit ticketmaster.com.

The rest of the Jan. 20 lineup will be announced later. Tickets to other Light of Days shows, taking place from Jan. 12 to Jan. 28 with lineups to be announced, will go on sale Nov. 17. For information and updates, visit LightofDay.org.

As usual, most of the Light of Day shows will take place in Asbury Park, though there also will be shows in Montclair, Deal, Manhattan, Philadelphia and Stony Point, New York. All events will raise money and awareness for the battle to defeat Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses.

Over the last 24 years, Light of Day has raised about $6.5 million for the cause through its shows in the United States as well as Canada, Europe and Australia.

Bruce Springsteen has performed at some prior Light of Day festivals. His appearances have always taken place at the main concert, and never have been announced in advance.
